This cover features a U.S. flag with "U.S. Mail" in quotes on top and "watch for sudden stops" arched to fit below the flag. 

The Dispatcher Jeep, or D.J., was a two-wheel-drive variant of the C.J. series. Production started in 1955 by Willyswhich was renamed Kaiser-Jeep in 1963. In 1970, American Motors (A.M.C.) purchased Kaisers money-losing Jeep operations establishing AM General, a wholly-owned subsidiary, built this model through 1983.
